Columbus, OH — Matt Pasternack has been named the Chief Product Officer of Aware, after serving as the Director of Product Management for nearly a year and a half.
As he steps into his new role, Pasternack is tasked with building out the product team and driving the strategy of Aware’s flagship Aware platform moving forward, unlocking key features that will bring better insights, governance and compliance to enterprise workplace collaboration tools.

Pasternack joined the Aware team in August of 2017 as Director of Product Management at Aware. Since then, he has mastered bridging the gap between business, marketing and engineering, leveraging his visionary thinking and product management experience to navigate product-market fit and gain recognition from leading research analyst firm, Gartner.

Early on in his career, Pasternack founded boutique experience design agency, which built award-winning product experiences, package design and scalable brand systems. He lead both product design and marketing efforts at InfoMotion Sports Technologies, a startup focused on innovation for the Internet of Things, where he joined a talented product team that built the world’s first Bluetooth smart sensor basketball, later named among Time Magazine’s Top 25 Invention of the Year and Best of CES 2015. Pasternack played a key role to expanding InfoMotion’s IoT sensing technology into the B2B manufacturing space, building product experiences for customers such as Toyota.
Immediately prior to joining Aware, Pasternack joined the product team at Olive, formerly known as CrossChx, where he was responsible for the Connect for Hospitals product suite and lead concept validation and build-out of the Olive platform, Olive’s current core product line.
