Defining Standard for Company Culture with Organizational Behavior Insights
by Aware
We have all heard the cliché saying that “People are an Organization’s Most Valuable Asset.” Reflecting on your own experiences, you are likely to recall an organization that has achieved great success or faced great hardship based on how they’ve treated their employees.
Here at Aware, our vision is to leverage the unique and ever-growing dataset — employee collaboration data — to remove risks and surface opportunity for the greater good of your organization. When it comes to organizational culture, we believe that leaders at every organization should have a real-time understanding of the organization’s unique, digital DNA — enabling it to be the best version of itself.
With this goal in mind, we are proud to announce our latest product development — Behavioral Indicators.
Behavioral Indicators, available within the Spotlight module in the Aware platform, help you understand your organization’s overall behavior and when it isn’t acting like it normally does. Once your organization’s unique communications are understood, the indicators will shine a light when overall behavior deviates from standard.
Today, Aware can provide insight into two areas of organizational culture:
- Sentiment Indicator understands the emotion and feeling of aggregate employee conversations and collaboration
- Health Indicator understands overall toxicity and can pick up on potentially unwanted behavior
By leveraging Behavioral Indicators on the Spotlight dashboard, users of the Aware platform can get a pulse check on when their organizational culture may dip above, or below, their own unique communication standards.
When Should I Use Organizational Behavioral Insights?
You may consider checking indicators daily to stay mindful of when overall employee sentiment or toxicity may dip above & below the standard. Current clients have referred back to indicators and trends after new policy roll outs, technology implementations, or employee townhalls to understand how the initiatives landed with employees.
